[Resolved] Web VPS is down

Resolved (9/14/2026, 10:55 PM): The Web VPS is operational and all services are online. OctoCam’s archive move will be tracked in a separate incident.

Resolving (9/14/2026, 10:44 PM): The Web VPS is now online again! Beacon Hill Weather is uploading backlogged data. I am working through a high disk usage warning at this time, with OctoCam timelapses being moved to off-VPS storage.

Update (9/14/2026, 8:49 PM): At this time, the VPS remains offline after official resolution, it is stuck in a Rebooting state. I have updated both support cases on OVH and will continue to monitor to see if the VPS comes online.

Update (9/14/2026, 8:09 PM): OVH has indicated that the incident has been resolved, but the Web VPS remains inaccessible at this time with it being stuck at rebooting. I will continue to monitor to see if the reboot completes or not.

Update (9/14/26, 6:23 PM): OVH has indicated that a support agent has begun working on the ticket that I separately filed in an attempt to get more information, then to reboot the VPS into rescue mode upon restoration (so I can pull database files in the event the VPS does not start up correctly).

Update (9/14/26, 6:08 PM): The VPS continues to remain offline with no further updates from OVH. I expect this incident to continue into the night and have a full restoration tomorrow afternoon.

Update (9/14/26, 4:20 PM): The VPS remains offline with no further updates from OVH (other than confirming that my Web VPS has been affected).

Update (9/14/26, 3:21 PM): The status page that has sat unused for 2 years is now up-to-date! But the VPS is still offline. Beacon Hill Weather is continuing to log data and when the VPS is restored, data will be uploaded.

Identified (9/14/26, 2:56 PM): OVH has notified me that the Web VPS has gone down due to a hardware issue with no expected restoration time. This is affecting all services hosted on the Web VPS.
